While down at Hashrocket, I had the extreme pleasure to pair for a couple days with Stephen Caudill. During that time, we wrote some great code, had some great conversations about craftsmanship (drink! watch the video, and you'll understand), as well as getting me a lot more comfortable in vim.
At the end of my stay there, Stephen sat down with me and had a great conversation. And, yes, that's the sound of a ping-pong game in the background.
Enjoy!

No olive branch for you! I still have no idea where I was going with that final thought there. *sigh* oh well.
ReplyDeletePairing (and just hanging out) with Corey for a few days was a really great experience! I'd highly recommend anyone with the means to try to host Corey on his tour, it's an incredible experience.
Corey, have you ever considered trying to record 5 or 10 minutes of your pairing code? Obviously it'd probably have to be with people working on open source or something, but I think people would actually find it interesting

ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea; I'll have to start looking into effective ways to do it.
Love how you can hear the pin-pong match going on!
ReplyDeleteHAHA! Yeah, they love their ping-pong at hashrocket.
